1. Solutions, Not Deforestation
Our industry is unequivocally **not about deforestation**. It is about smart, sustainable resource management. We transform agricultural and forestry residues into energy. Our work is supported by national systems like SVLK (Timber Legality Assurance System), guaranteeing all products come from legal and sustainable sources, not from the depletion of our vital, protected rainforests.
2. Championing the Circular Economy
We see value where others see waste. Indonesia's palm oil industry produces millions of tons of by-products like Palm Kernel Shells (PKS), Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB), and Palm Trunks. Instead of being discarded, these materials are transformed into clean, high-value green energy, closing the loop and building a true circular economy for Indonesia.
3. Regenerative by Design
Our impact is small in footprint but large in benefit. The total area used for biomass production is **less than 1%** of Indonesia's total forest area. In our managed energy forests, crops like Gamal and Calliandra are replanted as soon as they are harvested, creating a continuous, regenerative cycle that turns managed land into a living energy ecosystem.
